Tricks to remove difficult stains
Many times, the first action on the stain is final:
The best trick is to use a GOOD DETERGENT
Washing detergents L'OCA: MARSEILLE, ALOE VERA, WASH and BLACK & COLOUR incorporate the best ingredients to effectively remove stains.
Use cold water on recent stains.
Cold water prevents recent stains from adhering to the piece, making it easier to remove later.
Pretreat the stains with the products CODI ENERGIC or THE OCA STAINS REMOVES
Some stains are especially difficult to remove. Here are some tips to help you:
- Stickers:
Use nail polish remover or acetone (except in synthetic fabrics such as acetates).
Then wash according to label instructions. - Tar:
Remove as much as possible by scraping it. Soften what is left with margarine or butter and wipe the stain with a clean cloth. Then wash according to the instructions for use. - Mud:
Let the mud dry and then scrape off as much as you can. Pre-treat the rest of the stain with some type of OCA Detergent: MARSEILLE, ALOE VERA, WASH or BLACK & COLOUR and then wash according to the instructions on the label. - Pen and markers:

Remove as much as possible from the surface of the piece. Then place the fabric between two pieces of kitchen paper and press with a plate at medium temperature from the back of the fabric. Wash according to label instructions. - Beer:
Pre-treat the stain with LA OCA STAINS REMOVE or CODI ENERGIC. If the stain is very resistant, first rub it with a solution of one part vinegar for four parts water. Rinse thoroughly. - Gum:
